The CUDA 2020 AGM and Conference will take place at Killarney Convention Centre, Muckross Rd, Killarney, Co. Kerry, on Saturday 25th January 2020. This very popular venue is located a short distance outside the town of Killarney. There are two hotels on the Killarney Convention Centre site, The Gleneagle Hotel attaching to the Convention Centre and The Brehon Hotel located on the same site, within short walking distance.
CUDA has reserved accommodation at both hotels. The majority of rooms are held at the Gleneagle Hotel with a limited number of rooms also available at the Brehon Hotel. Demand will be high for these rooms so we have arranged for CUDA Owner Member credit unions to have first opportunity to make room reservations for your delegates. You do this by contacting Killarney Convention Centre and advising of your chosen hotel by 19th July (contact details below). Following the 19th July, CUDA will extend this invitation to Affinity Member credit unions and to Exhibitors.
The CUDA AGM and Conference is indeed a very significant event in the CUDA Calendar and we look forward to your attendance and participation. As in other years, CUDA will use this opportunity to welcome our increasing number of Affinity Members and we will extend an invite to other visitor credit unions in the Munster region who are not as yet part of the CUDA family of credit unions. If there are other credit unions neighbouring your common bond and you would like CUDA to extend an invite to them, please let us know.
CUDA will develop material content and consider presenters and activities over the coming months, following which a full agenda will be circulated to all. We welcome your thoughts and suggestions on areas of interest that you may wish to share with us to roisin.smith@cuda.ie
You and your Credit Union colleagues and partners are also invited to attend at our CUDA Gala Dinner, in the Killarney Convention Centre, followed by entertainment on the Saturday evening. As part of the CUDA conference event each year, a CUDA sponsored tour will be arranged on the Saturday morning for partners/guests not delegated to attend the CUDA conference itself. Further details will follow closer to the event date.
When contacting either the Gleneagle or Brehon hotels, please advise them that “You are attending the CUDA Conference 2020” so that your Credit Union can avail of the agreed rates.
